Have you ever wondered which liquid foundation would work best for you and your skin? Have you ever wondered what the differences are in the foundation?

Well, I am going to show you the differences on the foundations and you can see which will work best for you. All Paba’s foundations are formulated based on undertones in the skin. This ensures you get the best match based on your undertone and avoid having a gray cast over your foundation. The Perfect Finish Foundation comes in 21 colours and the HD foundation comes in 11 colours. There are colours for all the beautiful shades of you.

Let’s start with the HD foundation. It is a silicone based foundation that gives a more flawless finish. It is described as an advance formula developed to have skin like finish in front of a camera and to the naked eye. Lightweight with buildable coverage; it meets the needs of professional makeup artist and the everyday woman.

The coverage is light to medium coverage but it is buildable with a matte finish. This can be suitable for normal to oily skin. This foundation should be set with a powder if you have oily skin. I used the HD loose powder to set this foundation in the photo.

Now let’s go discuss the Perfect Finish liquid foundation which is the one I wear personally on a regular basis. It is described on Paba’s website as an oil free foundation that provides light to medium coverage, where a little goes a long way to give the face a flawless finish. This foundation is water based but I think it’s more of a medium to full buildable coverage. This foundation is perfect for sensitive skin or anyone who has skin conditions as it has no silicones in it.

I love this foundation because the coverage is good and a little goes a long way. If you have dry to normal skin, you won’t need to set it with a powder; however if you have oily skin, I would recommend setting it with the a powder i.e. the wet/dry powder as I did in the photos. The wet/dry powder creates a flawless look.

Overall, Both foundations have amazing and buildable coverage depending on the look and your skin type will determine which foundation works best for you. You can always come into the Paba Cosmetic’s store to get your free colour match to see what foundation colour you are.

Until next time!
